Amelia’s Story

As a child, Amelia played piano but did not enjoy it.

“You do it for your parents… as a kid, it was not as enjoyable’. In her college years  she accompanied singers and dancers with the piano.

But since starting lessons at Greenville Piano & Accordion Lessons as an adult, she is able to appreciate playing much more. She says that it gives her a good challenge and now she’s “less likely to develop dementia”. She is a retired Pediatrician.

Playing piano can be a relaxing pastime for her.

“You can feel better, it keeps your mind busy and sharp with hand and eye coordination”.

Even her neighbours like to listen to her practice!

Jessica’s Story

Jessica has feared that she has not practiced piano enough and that she would not be able to advance, has no talent, and won’t play well in lessons…

But since starting lessons with Greenville Piano and Accordion Lessons, she has started to advance in her playing a little bit more each year. And the best part? She has fun doing it for herself.

She’s improved her proficiency with playing and has said “playing piano is good for aging brains”. She’s able to play music that she wants and finds learning enjoyable.

The  lessons with Greenville Piano & Accordion Lessons is “a good set up” she said, and Jessica has become confident in her playing.

Introducing the Student Accelerator Program

The Student Accelerator Program is a once-a-week piano program designed specifically for adults.

In this program, the average student moves through five years of musical material in half the time.

Many of our most dedicated students have even completed the program in less than two years.

Why Students Progress Faster

Here are just a few things students experience:

Here's what you get when you join the program

Weekly Accelerate Classes

This is the main way students make progress. Each week, students learn new concepts and a half a dozen songs to play for mom and dad at home. They learn all the music with us… unlike 90% of studios that teach concepts and then force the kids to practice at home.

Student Success Support

No student in our studio ever gets stuck at home….we make sure of it. We offer support by phone, email, or video to ask questions and get help.

Perfect Practice Guide

Is practice a struggle? It doesn’t have to be. When you join our premier lesson program, we provide each parent with a guide to help their students succeed. We show you how we get results with students….sometimes with as little as 15 minutes of practice.

60 Minute Musician Session

Did you know it’s possible for a student to sound good from their very first lesson? It’s true.

In this first session, students learn the fundamentals of steady, confident playing in just one hour.

Monthly “Superstar Performances”

Our students sound great, and we want the world to know it. After a few months, students will be invited to perform in our superstar performances, which are shared with the other students in the studio.

Watching your child light up as you share their music with friends and family is incredibly rewarding for parents.

Twice-a-Year Recitals

Students have the opportunity to perform in public during our Fall and Spring recitals, building confidence and performance experience.

Royal Conservatory Music Development Program

Students have the opportunity to participate in the internationally respected RCM Program held at Furman University, which provides structured musical development and recognition.

South Carolina Federation of Music Clubs Festival

Students may participate in this annual judging event held at Bob Jones University each February.

Now Enrolling New Students

Studio openings are limited.

We are currently accepting only six new students.
