Piano & Accordion Lessons

Rossi Kennedy Music Studio has musicians of all skill levels, from amateurs to professionals. Here, there is something for everyone. No matter what your objectives may be, we are here to support you. We offer lessons for residents from Five Forks at our studio in Greenville, South Carolina.

Learn to play the accordion

In the USA, Australia, and Europe, Rossi Kennedy has had success instructing piano and accordion. She uses a range of international motivational books to teach her students, who are between the ages of 4 and adults. She believes that the key to success is to get started as soon as possible. But it’s never too late to start.

She uses games, stories, rhythm exercises, drawing, and playing well-known songs from the beginning, even before learning the musical alphabet. Even the youngest kids can participate in competitions, exams, and recitals successfully.

Students and Mrs Kennedy perform duet compositions starting on the first day of class.

Five Forks Piano lesson FAQs

What experiences will Mastery Accelerator Program students have?
  • Compared to a typical studio, students in this program spend twice as much time with the instructor. This is one of the keys to our success.
  • Students learn all of the music with the teacher so that they do not struggle at home.
  • Within weeks of beginning the program, students learn to perform with a professional piano accompaniment, allowing them to sound fantastic when performing for their grandparents.
  • Students are taught the Perfect Playing Practice Process. Our secret to making students sound impressive and experienced!
  • Some students perform duets with the instructor during our spring and fall recitals. The advanced student will perform alone.
  • Within a few months of enrolling in the Program, students can play songs from the radio and popular films.

What are the benefits of joining the program?

The main way that students advance is through this. Six songs are taught to the students each week to perform for their parents at home, along with new concepts. They learn the entire music with us, in contrast to 90% of studios that teach concepts and then assign homework. In record time, finish the beginner’s books. Compared to the average students, our students finish their coursework more quickly. With our Perfect Playing Practice Process, you can quickly pick up new songs and avoid the difficulties of being a “new student.” Even beginners can sing along as they play since every musical piece has lyrics.

Is practice hard?

It is not necessary to be. Every parent who enrolls in our top-tier lesson program receives a handbook with tips on how to help their child succeed. We show you how we have success with students. Sometimes after only three minutes of practice.

What should be expected after the initial 30 or 60-minute weekly lesson?

Students can sound proficient from the first lesson, which may surprise you. That is correct! In this initial hour-long lesson with us, the student will learn all of the foundational skills for steady, smooth playing.

Will there be any public performances?

Our students sound amazing. We want everyone to be aware of it! After a few months, Rossi will prepare your student to perform in our spring and fall shows. When your student performs the music for family and friends, you’ll notice how happy he or she is. It’s a fantastic way to get our students excited and motivated.

Our students receive superior results at auditions for the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival, as well as auditions for the Royal Conservatorium of music and the Governor School of Music.

  • Learning on the World’s Best Piano, Steinway.

  • We offer the Best Public Performance opportunities for your students, Five Times a Year.

Will there be student awards?

Students are recognized for their achievements. They will win prizes if they complete their 30 or 40 piece challenge sheets. They will receive prizes for demonstrating consistent progress over the course of a given month, semester, or year. or demonstrating a consistent weekly practice schedule.

Five Forks testimonials

Three years ago, I decided to resume piano lessons.

I had taken lessons from age 7 until age 18. Then a lot of time passed with working and raising children which left little time
to keep up my piano skills. I was so fortunate to find Mrs. Rossi Kennedy. She is the most patient teacher that I have ever met. She never seems to get upset when I make a mistake. I try to practice 45 minutes to one hour at least 5 days a week. Some weeks I do better and actually practice 6 days. I have occasionally taken my keyboard with me when traveling out of town in order to practice.

I am enjoying relearning skills and challenging my brain with my piano lessons. I have only participated in one recital due to travel and work issues. It was a lot of fun.

I did feel a bit awkward being the only adult, but the younger children were impressed, because I used the pedal during my song. I plan to continue lessons as long as I can.

Rossi works really well with younger students. She made my daughter feel immediately comfortable with her warm personality and infinite patience. Rossi makes the lessons fun with games, play-along CD's, and lots of positive reinforcement.

I hope this will instill in Raina a life-long love of music. Rossi also appropriately challenges my daughter. Raina has progressed to more difficult pieces, and she has gotten excellent feedback at competitions.
