Mauldin SC Piano & Accordion Lessons

Rossi Kennedy Music Studio has musicians of all skill levels, from amateurs to professionals. Here, there is something for everyone. No matter what your objectives may be, we are here to assist you. We offer lessons in our studio in Pelzer, South Carolina, which is not far from Mauldin, SC. Classes are also taught at First Presbyterian Academy Shannon Forest Campus, Greenville.

Accordion lessons

Rossi Kennedy has taught piano and accordion in the United States, Australia, and Europe. She uses a variety of inspirational books from around the world to teach her students, who range in age from 4 to adults.  She believe the key to success is to begin as soon as possible. It is, however, never too late to start.

She uses games, stories, rhythm activities, drawing, and playing well-known songs even before learning the musical alphabet. Even the youngest children compete, take exams, and perform in recitals.

Duet compositions are performed by students and teachers beginning on the first day of class.

What will students of the Mastery Accelerator Program encounter?
  • Compared to a typical studio, students in this program spend twice as much time with the instructor. This is one of the keys to our success.
  • Students study all of the music with the teacher so that they do not struggle at home.
  • Within weeks of beginning the program, children learn to perform with a professional piano accompaniment, allowing them to sound wonderful when performing for their grandparents.
  • Students are instructed in our Perfect Playing Practice Method. Our secret of making students sound impressive and experienced!
  • Some students perform duets with the instructor during our spring and fall recitals, while others practice playing in front of a large audience.
  • Within a few months of enrolling in the Program, students can perform music from the radio and popular films.

What are the benefits of joining the program?

This is the primary means by which students progress. Students are taught six new songs and six new concepts each week to perform for their parents at home. In contrast to 90% of studios that teach principles and then require students to practice at home, we teach the whole piece. Complete the beginner’s books in quick time. Our students complete their schoolwork faster than the average student. With our Perfect Playing Practice Process, you may quickly learn new songs and avoid the difficulties of being a “new student.” Because each musical composition incorporates lyrics, even novice musicians may sing along.

Is practice difficult?

It is unnecessary for it to be. Every parent who enrolls their child in our premier lesson program receives a guide on how to assist their child’s achievement. We illustrate how successful we are with pupils, even with only three minutes of practice.

What can be expected after the initial 60-minute music session?

Students can sound skilled from the very first lesson, which may surprise you. It is so! During this initial hour-long lesson with us, the learner will acquire all the abilities necessary for steady, smooth playing.

Will there be any performances for the public?

Our students sound amazing. We want everyone to be aware of it! After a few months, Rossi will prepare them to perform in our spring and fall concerts. When your student performs the song for family and friends, you’ll notice how delighted he or she is. It’s a fantastic approach to get our children enthusiastic and motivated and to showcase the superior results they have achieved.

Students will achieve superior results when they attend Auditions for the National Federation of Music Clubs Festival, as well as auditions for the Royal Conservatorium of Music and the Governor School of Music.

  • Learning on the World’s Best Piano, Steinway.

  • We offer the Best Public Performance opportunities for your students, Five Times a Year.

Are there any awards for students?

Students are recognized for their achievements. When they complete their 30- or 40-piece puzzles, they will receive prizes. They will receive prizes for exhibiting steady growth over the course of a given month, semester, or year. or exhibiting a consistent weekly practice schedule.

mauldin area testimonials

Our family loves Rossi Kennedy! My two children have really enjoyed their time learning with her! Her kind and patient approach have helped them truly develop a love for learning music.

She is gentle and supportive while encouraging them to reach to their highest potential. It is easy to tell she is passionate about music and enjoys teaching others. The recitals are my favorite! They are very well done and I love seeing all the students light up with pride and confidence.

I highly recommend her!

Hollis really enjoyed learning the accordion from Rossi Kennedy. Hollis has a very nonsense approach to music and would not have tolerated being forced to do things that would not have added to his learning, a statement I have heard from him about numerous teachers in the past.

However, with Mrs Kennedy, he always practiced the way she taught him so that he would learn the correct methods. She treated him with respect and dignity, and that goes a long way to making him take the music seriously. Thank you!
